Add a watermark — text like "CONFIDENTIAL" or an image — across your document's pages.

The Watermark tool opens a configuration sheet where you set:
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Type | Text watermark or image watermark |
| Content | The watermark text, or the chosen image |
| Opacity | How faint or bold the watermark appears |
| Rotation / angle | Diagonal or straight placement |
| Pages | Apply to all pages or a range |
Removing watermarks
To strip an existing watermark from a document, use the Remove Watermark tool in PDF Tools.

A watermark applied here is a document annotation. If you need it burned permanently into the page content, flatten on export — see Save Options.
