The built-in Falcon AI is powered by Google Gemini through Falcon's secure backend — no API key or setup needed.
Usage
- Open a PDF and tap the AI chat icon (mobile: the More menu; desktop: the chat sidebar).
- Type a question or pick a suggested prompt.
- The response appears inline with page references.
Limits

Limits are counted per document. Once you start chatting about a PDF, all follow-up questions about that same document — including resuming later — are free.

Prefer your own model? Pro and Premium can use a personal OpenAI-compatible endpoint or a local Ollama model instead of the built-in one. See AI Chat & Providers for setup.

AI chat requires an internet connection (except local Ollama). Very long documents are limited by the model's context window; Premium models handle longer documents with better accuracy.
